Home Alone Pet Cottages is a boarding facility for dogs and cats located on a scenic country property in Keswick, Ontario.
A few years ago, we received the Georgina Chamber of Commerce award for Business Excellence for Outstanding Micro Business. We are a licensed facility and are subject to a detailed annual inspection by the Town of Georgina. Our business has been in operation since 1998 and we are recommended by local veterinarians. We recently started “The Dog Blog” and will be publishing short stories and useful information about pets. (We currently have published several stories, plus articles on separation anxiety, boarding, fussy eaters, with more to come!) Please subscribe to our blog by sending us your email address.
For your dog, we offer spacious, individual “Pet Cottages“, with attached outdoor patios. Your cat will enjoy their stay in our four-level “Kitty Condos“, with ample area for lounging and play. Our facility is comfortably heated in the cooler months and air conditioned in the summer.
We want your pet to enjoy their stay with us and work towards making them as comfortable as possible. Therefore, we encourage you and your pet to come and visit our facility before you board.
For your convenience, we operate the kennel 7 days a week*, however, in order to minimize disruption to the pets already at the kennel, we are open for pick-ups, drop-offs and tours only during certain hours every day. Our morning hours are from 9:00 – 11:30 am and our afternoon hours are from 4:00 – 6:00 pm. We are also closed a few times a year to perform kennel maintenance. Also, due to the fact that our kennels are electrically heated and very expensive to run in the colder months (in excess of $2,800 per month), we can no longer justify operating the kennel from late-January to the end of February.
We hope to see you and your pet soon!

* With the exception of our kennel maintenance periods. We will be operating the kennel, but closed for pick-ups, drop-offs and tours Dec. 24 (4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.), Dec. 25 and Dec 26 (All day), Dec 31 (4 p.m. – 6 p.m.) and Jan. 1(all day).
